What’s the closest thing to seeing a Phish concert? Phish 3D! Phish 3D the concert film will open nationwide for one week starting April 30. The movie consists of footage from Phish Festival 8 filmed last Halloween. Phish? Costumes? Multiple sets? Halloween? YES PLEASE! Phish covered the Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main St” album; the film will show Phish’s most popular songs, footage from their first full-length acoustic set and backstage clips. The film will have early showings on April 20 in Boston, Burlington, VT, Los Angeles, NYC, Raleigh/ Durham and Washington DC/

Phish Telluride

Phish was recently approved to headline two concerts in Telluride, CO at Town Park on August 9 and 10 directly after the Telluride Bluegrass Festival on August 6-8. The town has created strict conditions under which the concert can be conducted but everything so far looks like a go. Phish Colorado tickets aren’t on sale yet, but expect this page to be updated with links to cheap ones as soon as they do.

Sorry for the late post guys! My man Trey is heading out on a small tour this February! Along with his group Classic TAB,Trey will tour throughout the US beginning in Charlottesville, VA on February 8 to benefit the Kristine Anastasio Manning Memorial Fund. Classic TAB consists of Anastasio, Russ Lawton on drums, Tony Markellis on bass, Ray Paczkowski, Russell Remington on sax, Jen Hartswich on trumpet and Natalie Cressman on trombone. It would be hard to pass up the chance to see Phish during the last moments of 2009, let alone in one of the biggest party cities in the US. Phish Miami 2009 is going to be sick, and I’ve got Phish New Years tickets right here. Our favorite group will be playing at the American Airlines Arena from December 28-31, that’s four days of Phish Miami and four full days of pure insanity. But be advised. Like most Phish tickets, Phish New Years tickets will sell out, so buy them as soon as humanly possible…seriously.

The rumors are true- Phish Festival 8 Tickets are finally on sale. The three-day festival falls on Halloween, Oct 30 to Nov 1 to be exact, and will take place at The Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA (the same place that both Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals are). These Phish concerts with feature 8 sets (!!!) of glorious music for one Phish Festival 8 ticket price along with a full album from another band on All Hallows Eve. This tradition dates back to 1994 when Phish covered The Beatles’ White Album on Halloween.

The festival will occur after an extensive fall Mike Gordon Tour and may be the last date on the Phish Reunion Tour. With more than half of the Phish tour dates passed, I’m still having a hard time believing that Phish has reunited and is hitting stages around the country. I’ve had the privilege of seeing Phish in a musical festival setting and in the surrealistic venue that is Hampton. If I had the time to follow Phish like I did when I was younger I’d drop everything in a second, so I have to pick and choose my Phish experiences. One particular show I’m excited about has been dubbed “An Evening With Trey Anastasio” featuring the New York Philharmonic and conductor Asher Fisch on September 12 at Carnegie Hall.
