Along with his group Classic TAB,Trey will tour throughout the US beginning in Charlottesville, VA on February 8 to benefit the Kristine Anastasio Manning Memorial Fund. Classic TAB consists of Anastasio, Russ Lawton on drums, Tony Markellis on bass, Ray Paczkowski, Russell Remington on sax, Jen Hartswich on trumpet and Natalie Cressman on trombone. It would be hard to pass up the chance to see Phish during the last moments of 2009, let alone in one of the biggest party cities in the US. Phish Miami 2009 is going to be sick, and I’ve got Phish New Years tickets right here. Our favorite group will be playing at the American Airlines Arena from December 28-31, that’s four days of Phish Miami and four full days of pure insanity. But be advised. Like most Phish tickets, Phish New Years tickets will sell out, so buy them as soon as humanly possible…seriously.

The rumors are true- Phish Festival 8 Tickets are finally on sale. The three-day festival falls on Halloween, Oct 30 to Nov 1 to be exact, and will take place at The Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA (the same place that both Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals are). These Phish concerts with feature 8 sets (!!!) of glorious music for one Phish Festival 8 ticket price along with a full album from another band on All Hallows Eve. This tradition dates back to 1994 when Phish covered The Beatles’ White Album on Halloween.

The festival will occur after an extensive fall Mike Gordon Tour and may be the last date on the Phish Reunion Tour. With more than half of the Phish tour dates passed, I’m still having a hard time believing that Phish has reunited and is hitting stages around the country. I’ve had the privilege of seeing Phish in a musical festival setting and in the surrealistic venue that is Hampton. If I had the time to follow Phish like I did when I was younger I’d drop everything in a second, so I have to pick and choose my Phish experiences. One particular show I’m excited about has been dubbed “An Evening With Trey Anastasio” featuring the New York Philharmonic and conductor Asher Fisch on September 12 at Carnegie Hall.

The show will feature classic Phish tracks and the Trey Anastasio and Don Hart collaboration “Time Turns Elastic” for an accurate account of the “Time Turns Elastic” experience head on over to FackYouk.com. Phish Halloween Festival | Phish Tickets Indio

Rumors have been circulating that a new multi-day Phish festival will happen some time in the fall. Well, those rumors are true and Phish is indeed hosting a 3 day festival on October 30, 31 and Nov 1 – that’s a Phish Halloween Festival! Phish’s last multi day festival was 2004’s Coventry Festival featuring torrential downpours. Venue and ticket information for the Phish festival have yet to be released so keep checking back for more information on Phish Festival tickets and Phish Halloween tickets!

A review…

If you attended Bonnaroo this year like I did, you had to deal with a grueling few nights of rain before the sun finally broke through, but it was all worth it eh? Luckily I got to catch both friday night and sunday night Phish shows and lemme tell ya, they were pretty sweet. Although I’ve seen better shows on the current Phish tour, there’s something about the Bonnaroo atmosphere that just makes seeing Phish live well, magical. Adopting the dirty nomadic way of life for a couple of days is worth it when you can see the likes of Phish, Rodrigo Y Gabriela and even Erykah Badu in the same venue. And how about Phish finishing off their friday night set with a lil Beatles tune? A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Did anyone pass by this little phan art (shown above) towards the back right hand corner of the What Stage? Never seen such a beautiful sight have ya? It may be prettier than, dare I say, a pair of Phish tickets in hand…

It’s mid May and it has come to my attention that the Phish tour is starting in merely 2 weeks, 2 WEEKS! Now I’ve already purchased ny Phish Fenway tickets and my Phish Red Rocks tickets, I’m even thinking about hitting up Bonnaroo (yeah yeah I know, sellout whatevs). I’ve been hearing a lot of complaints from friends about how they snoozed and lost the chance to see Phish live because there are simply no Phish tickets left.
