Dispatch Reunion

Okay, okay. SO, the Phish tour is over, at least for now. What’s a jam band geek like myself supposed to do? Well I’ll tell you what I’m going to do, get me some Dispatch tickets! There are only a few band reunions worth mentioning and this is one of them. I’ve missed each and every random reunion this band has made since their “hiatus” back in 2002, and I don’t intend to continue that trend. If you listened to Phish in college, or high school for that matter, you undoubtedly listened to Dispatch and I’ll tell ya, there are some memories wrapped around those songs! As soon as I find out more info about their summer tour I’ll post it right here!

Have some New Years plans? No? No problem! Phish is doing a five day Phish New Years run in the Northeast this year! That’s Phish in Worchester at the DCU Center and Phish at Madison Square Garden to ring in the New Year. And what’s so great about that? Phish will be playing on New Years day! A rarity for fans. Imagine partying hard with Phish, counting down to 2011 on New Years Eve, then waking up to the sound of “Waste” on the loud speakers. That’s starting the New Year on the right foot! It’s about that time again! Phish will head out on the road this fall and I’ve got all the information you’ll need to pick up cheap Phish tickets sans lottery! Think summer flew by? Fall will be over before you know it. Phish will hit up multiples dates across the country this October including a three-day stint in Atlantic City on Halloween weekend – performing for the first time EVER in America’s Playground. I wonder how many costumes will fit in my suitcase this year? Does anyone have any good costume ideas for the Phish Halloween concerts?

Phish 3D!

What’s the closest thing to seeing a Phish concert? Phish 3D! Phish 3D the concert film will open nationwide for one week starting April 30. The movie consists of footage from Phish Festival 8 filmed last Halloween. Phish? Costumes? Multiple sets? Halloween? YES PLEASE! Phish covered the Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main St” album; the film will show Phish’s most popular songs, footage from their first full-length acoustic set and backstage clips. The film will have early showings on April 20 in Boston, Burlington, VT, Los Angeles, NYC, Raleigh/ Durham and Washington DC/

Phish Telluride

Phish was recently approved to headline two concerts in Telluride, CO at Town Park on August 9 and 10 directly after the Telluride Bluegrass Festival on August 6-8. The town has created strict conditions under which the concert can be conducted but everything so far looks like a go. Phish Colorado tickets aren’t on sale yet, but expect this page to be updated with links to cheap ones as soon as they do.

Sorry for the late post guys! My man Trey is heading out on a small tour this February! Along with his group Classic TAB,Trey will tour throughout the US beginning in Charlottesville, VA on February 8 to benefit the Kristine Anastasio Manning Memorial Fund. Classic TAB consists of Anastasio, Russ Lawton on drums, Tony Markellis on bass, Ray Paczkowski, Russell Remington on sax, Jen Hartswich on trumpet and Natalie Cressman on trombone. It would be hard to pass up the chance to see Phish during the last moments of 2009, let alone in one of the biggest party cities in the US. Phish Miami 2009 is going to be sick, and I’ve got Phish New Years tickets right here. Our favorite group will be playing at the American Airlines Arena from December 28-31, that’s four days of Phish Miami and four full days of pure insanity. But be advised. Like most Phish tickets, Phish New Years tickets will sell out, so buy them as soon as humanly possible…seriously.
