If LiveNation dropped the ball for “technical glitches” with Phish ticket sales, Ticketmaster bit the big one this week. In a planned four night gig at Colorado’s Red Rock’s Amphitheater, Phish concert tickets were supposed to go on sale on March 26th. However, word spread around that Ticketmaster released thier Phish Red Rock tickets early, and fans snatched up Phish tickets before the glitch could be corrected on March 18th . Coveting their prized Phish tickets, fans were disappointed to see that ticket purchases were canceled. According to Ticketmaster’s contract of service “If you are able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date or you are able to order a ticket that was not supposed to have be released for sale then Ticketmaster will have the right to cancel that ticket.”
Bummer. What a let down! Well as you know I’ve had luck with a web site or two in my Phish concert days, particularly with Phish Hampton. I’m glad I snoozed on the 18 because even though people are getting their money back for tickets, the disappointment must be agonizing. Such a shame…

Two thousand dollars in the hole man, I got screwed real good with that one. It was like, like taking a kid’s favorite tour, or bursting someones bubble or taking away MY BIG DREAM. Ticketmaster lost my support big time, what’s this web site you keep talking about?
My heart was totally crushed, I mean, why not just let people keep their Phish tickets? True phans are the ones checking those sites for tickets anyway, tickets should stay with their rightful owners!
Haha, all I could do was laugh, it was either that or cry. Were this many people let down by this? How did word get out so quickly?
Can they come to Austin, TX? I feel like all of the jam bands skip right by the biggest state in the country!
